Active Learning

To be active is to share and participate. Active learning is to make student the center of teaching-learning process; i.e the role of the student is not to listen and do homework but he must be an active participant.. he share, discuss, give solutions and opinions. 

But to achieve active learning, a teacher should quit the traditional style and adopting new effective strategies to keep students on the track like brain storming ,discussion ,pair work and group work... Teacher needs to use variety of aids ( visual, auditory, face expression, gestures, body language..) in this way the classroom environment will be attractive and all students get involved and share in effectively.

It is great ... to be a teacher

"Teaching strategies"  ... It was a very interesting and useful course in TDED. At the end of the course I acquired many concepts about teaching. I discovered the importance of applying variety of strategies in order to achieve success inside the classroom. I also learned that marks are not the evaluation of how much the teacher is successful and my role is to convince  my students that we are not here just for grades, but the goal is to understand and share the process effectively.

 The teacher's role differ in nowadays. He is not just a sender of information but a facilitator of the learning process. In this course , I found that every single student have the right to learn and share in the learning process in the mean that it is an opened learning for all. From here the role of teachers is not easy they are required to give teaching to all in good quality ....  How Great ! 

Before planning the lesson ...

Education process is similar to any other process or project in our lives and to ensure the success of this process a well organized planning must be prepared. But before planning the lesson several things should be taken in consideration. Before start planning teachers should review the overall objectives of the content through which specific objectives are included and develop long-term plans. The teachers must also review the content in accurate way to identify the other resources that can be used in addition to the book because teachers are required to provide educational quality for students. As well as teachers should determine the mental process that will be needed to ensure the students’ understanding.  The more important is to determine the background information and previous experiences that will be the base for the new lesson. After that an effective and organized plan can be placed.  

Educational Technology

Educational technology is a course in TDED studies. The course is very interesting and helpful. It helps the learners to develop their selves in the domain of teaching and make them  more successful. It introduces how the technology is used in the classroom to make the lesson more interactive and effective which help students to be more active during the period also to ensure their understanding . 


 The most preferable part to me is the power point presentation. It helps me to present my lesson in attractive way and facilitates the communication with students. Also making the assessment in active way and let all students to share without boring. I will apply all concepts and tools in the future to be specialized in my job.
